10. what if the falling action in the my father goes to court

Answer:

"My Father Goes to Court" is a short story written by Filipino author, Carlos Bulosan, it tells a story of a poor farmer who goes to court to fight for his land rights against wealthy landlord. The story is a commentary on the struggles of Filipino tenants in the 1930s and the power imbalances that existed between landlords and tenants.

The falling action in "My Father Goes to Court" begins when the main character, the poor farmer, loses the court case against the wealthy landlord. This is a turning point in the story as it marks the beginning of the resolution.

As the falling action, the farmer and his family are evicted from their land, and must find a new place to live. They wander from one place to another, trying to find a new home but with no luck. The father is defeated, unable to provide for his family, and his children have to leave school and find jobs to help make ends meet. The family's situation becomes increasingly desperate and hopeless as they are forced to leave their home, lose their land and struggle to survive.

Additionally, the falling action shows the father, who previously had been determined to fight for his rights, slowly accepting his defeat, and his realization that the legal system is not really working for poor people like him. He becomes more resigned to his fate, and comes to accept that they are powerless against the wealthy landlord and the corrupt system.

The falling action in "My Father Goes to Court" serves to highlight the harsh realities faced by tenants and farmers during that time, and the struggles they faced against a system that was not designed to work in their favor. It also shows how a father and his family are affected by losing their land and their struggle for survival.

REVIEW

Honestly, it was really a great story. I also join to their laughter at the end. It was really came from our Philippine Literature. I understand it more than other stories. Let us talk about the story, what can you say about the rich man? The reason why they look sick and pale is because they didn’t enjoy their life, look, he seldom make the children go outside. The other family, even though they are poor, they had a good bonding.

Carlos Bulosan was a really good author, not because he was a Filipino, but by his story. You can saw the Filipino skills to him, and Philippine Literature was really good.

REFLECTION

This story really gives you many lessons. First, don’t be afraid to the case that had been accused to you if you don’t have secrets. Second, just tell the truth. Third, you may not need a lawyer if you can fight by your own by just HONESTY. Fourth, don’t accused someone because you are more powerful than them and you are jealous to them. Lastly, just enjoy your life.

Accusing your fault to someone was really a bad thing to do, don’t ever do that. Here in Philippines, if you always laugh and laugh, it will makes your life even longer. I can relate some story in this one, rich family had everything but they don’t have the spirit of love in each other. In poor family they didn’t had thigs like the rich man but you can see the love in them.
