7. WHAT IS THE SIMILARITIES OF OHS AND ISO?

Answer:

The structure of ISO 45001 from OHSAS 18001 was one of the biggest changes. ISO 45001 is now based on the same high level structure as other management systems, such as quality (ISO 9001: 2015) and environment (ISO 14001: 2015).

Annex L is a new management system format that helps streamline the creation of new standards. As a result of it being used across multiple standards, it makes implementing a number of standards within a single organization easier. Annex L replaces ISO Guide 83. Guide 83 originally was a base structure and standardized text for management system standards. This structure was not common across the multiple standards making it difficult for organizations to implement multiple standards.

Film speed is the measure of a photographic film's sensitivity to light, determined by sensitometry and measured on various numerical scales, the most recent being the ISO system. A closely related ISO system is used to describe the relationship between exposure and output image lightness in digital cameras

Answer:

ISO Speed refers to your camera sensor's sensitivity to light. The higher the ISO speed, the more light-sensitive it is. What this means is that you can use a quicker shutter speed, which is useful in sports photography and low light, or a smaller aperture, for where you want a wide depth of field.

23. importance of ISO image Creator

Answer:

ISO image is a term commonly associated with CD and DVD burning. An ISO image (or .ISO file) is a computer file that is an exact copy of an existing file system. An ISO can contain the entire contents of a CD-ROM disc or CD medium. ISO files are typically created through a software application that will open, create, edit, and extract CD or DVD image files, then convert the extracted image to an ISO file, easily allowing users to burn an exact copy of the original onto CD or DVD.

Explanation:

26. define and explained the ISO 14066

Answer:

Foreword

ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.

International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2.

The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote.

Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. ISO shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.

ISO 14066 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 207, Environmental management, Subcommittee SC 7, Greenhouse gas management and related activities.

Introduction

This International Standard specifies competence requirements for validation teams and verification teams for the benefit of greenhouse gas (GHG) programme administrators, regulators, validation bodies and verification bodies. To achieve consistency in the international marketplace and maintain public confidence in GHG reporting and other communications, there is a need to define competence requirements for validation teams and verification teams.

Requirements for GHG validation bodies and GHG verification bodies are established in ISO 14065. ISO 14065 requires that validation bodies and verification bodies establish and maintain a procedure to manage the competence of its personnel undertaking the various validation or verification activities within the team appointed for the engagement. It is the role of the validation or verification body to ensure that teams have the necessary competence to effectively complete the validation or verification process. This International Standard includes principles for ensuring competence of validation teams and verification teams. Supporting these principles are general requirements based on the tasks that validation teams or verification teams need to be able to perform and the competence required to do so.

This International Standard can be used in conjunction with ISO 14065 as the basis for assessing and recognizing the competence of validation teams and verification teams.

Users of this International Standard are encouraged to refer to ISO 14064-1 and ISO 14064-2 for GHG quantification and reporting and to ISO 14064-3 for GHG validation and verification.

Figure 1 shows the relationships between the application of this International Standard and ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-2, ISO 14064-3 and ISO 14065.

30. benefits of having ISO 9000

Explanation:

One important aspect of ISO 9000 is its process-oriented approach. Instead of looking at a company’s departments and individual processes, ISO 9000 requires that a company look at “the big picture.”

Once this process-oriented approach is implemented, various audits can be done as a check of the effectiveness of your quality management system. There are three main types of audits – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits. An internal audit is a 1st party audit. ISO 9000 encourages (and requires) this type of audit so that an organization can get feedback quickly from those who know the company best.
